Commissions

How a commission work

It all begins with photos. I will take a look at the photos you had in mind and let you know if it would make a great drawing. I may ask for more photos, videos or images. It will help me capture the character and atmosphere of the person. I will give you my recommendations on size and orientation, cropping and colours.

For my portrait prices, please click Portfolio in the Manu button above. Or email me at kana.nisioka.studio@gmail.com for free consultation.

If you are happy to go ahead, I will ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking and then I will work my art. I will let you know when I start and finish. I will send progress pics or videos if you like.

Send me a message to get the ball rolling.

Step 1

Sharing images

Email me the best photos or videos of the subject that you’d like me to draw.

The more photos you have the better so that I can get a good idea of the personality of the person/pet.

I can also merge different photos together. Here I created a couple portrait of past and present persons.

Step 2

Decide the final image size and orientation

I will give you my recommendations on size and orientation, cropping and colours. We will decide the final output like size and orientation, background or objects you’d like to add/remove anything from the photo.

Step 3

Wait for delivery to you

If you are happy to go ahead, I will ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking and then I will work my art. I will let you know when I started, when finished, and when I shipped. I will share progress pics or videos.

Wait for me to focus on artwork (usually between 4 -6 weeks excluding shipping). I highly recommend framing after receiving the painting. Enjoy the artwork.
